Job Description & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSEQ management systems aligned with international standards (SMS, PSMS, HEMS)
- Ensure workplace safety, loss prevention, and occupational health compliance
- Oversee Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 9001
- Establish QA/QC standards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Liaise with regulatory bodies including NEPRA, MOE, and other stakeholders
- Lead safety-driven culture through employee engagement and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage environmental impact, pollution control, energy conservation, and resource optimization
- Oversee risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response systems
- Drive MEPCO’s sustainability and governance objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferred Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Engineering / 16-year degree in TQM, Environment or related discipline will be an advantage
- Experience:
- Minimum 20 years total experience
- At least 5 years in Supervision / Consultancy of:
- Process Safety
- Occupational Health & Wellness
- Stress Management
- Quality & Environmental Management Systems
- Additional Certifications (Preferred):
- NEBOSH IGC
- HAZOP
- NFPA
- IOSH
- Stress & Mental Therapy
- Sector Preference:
- Experience in Public / Private Power Sector organizations preferred
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 62 years at the closing date
- No age relaxation beyond the prescribed limit
Salary & Benefits
- Market-based competitive salary:
PKR 800,000 to 1,000,000 per month - Salary negotiable based on qualification and experience
- Additional benefits and allowances as per MEPCO policy
- Annual performance appraisal by MEPCO Board
- Contractual position (non-pensionable & non-convertible)
